I used Martha’s pie crust recipe. One of the best things about pie baking is the extra crust dough that I roll out and sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar. I only made a single/bottom crust for this so there wasn’t much extra dough for the crisps but everyone will get a small taste.  I was inspired by Posie Gets Cozy to make this Sour Cream Apple Pie. I saw the recipe for these strawberry cupcakes on Martha Stewart.com and I was craving cupcakes. They weren’t too difficult to make but I didn’t quite follow the frosting recipe, because frosting recipes always seem to make way too much frosting and I waste half of it. I adjusted the frosting to 1 stick of butter and 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar. My frosting came out pretty pink and not as smooth as the picture on the website.
